Vale Dr Paul Collier 10/03/10 10:00 am The Greens are deeply saddened by the sudden death of disability advocate, Dr Paul Collier. We send our condolences to his family and friends. “Paul was a passionate advocate for a better go for people with disabilities,” said Greens MLC Mark Parnell. “Paul used his considerable talents to make sure that disability issues were not ignored, particularly during election times. As a candidate, he made sure that all parties knew what was needed by way of improved policies and services for the large number of people who live with or care for those with disabilities. “Right up until he was struck down, Paul was busy meeting with and lobbying future decision-makers in his customary cheery but persuasive manner. “South Australia is the poorer for his passing,” he said. |
